Global warming is the current rise in the average temperature of Earth's oceans and atmosphere.
2. What is the process involved in the greenhouse effect?
The greenhouse effect is a process by which thermal radiation from a planetary surface is absorbed by atmospheric greenhouse gases, and is re-radiated in all directions. Since part of this re-radiation is back towards the surface, energy is transferred to the surface and the lower atmosphere. As a result, the temperature there is higher than it would be if direct heating by solar radiation were the only warming mechanism.

The temperature is increasing and a lot of plants and animals are dying for US.
But we can stop this problem, we can use renewable and clean energies like the wind, the solar power and the water.

My name's Francesc Rigau and I live in Banyoles in Catalonia. I like the area where I live, so I want to improve it.

In my opinion there aren't many youth clubs and open spaces in the area. Definetly there is a lot of traffic and polution. As a result, a lot of people don't go out because there isn't any site to visit or to go.

I think the council should do something about this. I was thinking this and I find a solution. We should find a land which local people can use for a park, or a garden. We need this quickly, we need an open spaces.

Hi my name is Francesc and I'm 13 years old. Today I'm going to talk about Alexander the Great. First I'm going to talk about his early life. Then I'm going to talk about his empire and finally I'm going to talk about his death.

Early Life
Alexander was born on 20 July 356 BC, in Macedon and died on 10 June 323 BC in India. He was the son of Philip II, the King of Macedon. His mother was Philip's fourth wife Olympia, the daughter of another king of a northern Greek state.

His Empire
After the murder of his father in 336 BC in hands of Pausania a captain of his guard, Alexander became the king of Macedon at the age of 20. In 334 BC, he began a systematic conquest of the coast of Asia Minor. The first battle was given to Persia; he won and he could conquered it
But at he 331 BC he returned to Greece. The here he caught his boats and he began to conquer the territory of Egypth. After that he spreaded his army to the actual zone of Germany and Spain. Then at 326 BC he set his interest in India. He caught the army and went to India.

His Death
He could conquered India, and here was married with a girl called Roxana. An here was the site of accomodation during the final part of his life. He didn't have sons and he died in 323 BC. He was poisoned by a friend who wanted his empire

Alexander the Great, was born 21 july 356 BC and died on 10 June 323 BC, was the king of Macedonia (336-323 BC), conqueror of the Persian Empire an one of o the most important military leaders of the ancient world. It is perhaps one of the most attractive figures of history.

He lives his early life in Macedonia, but when he conquered Persia live there and when he conquered India, lived here too. And he was the son of the king of Macedonia.

After the murder of his father in 336 BC in the hands of Pausania, a captain of his gurad, Alexander inherited the kingdom when he was only 20. All Greece subjected by Philip, stood up. Likes and dislikes:
I don't like the music. I prefer watching TV or playing computer games so I'm a big fan of the good TV series and also the new modern computer games. I'm a fan of comics and manga too. I love reading books and watching films with my friends.

My time and money:
I don't spend a lot of time on the internet or talking with my friends on messenger. I prefer playing with my friends and going to the cinema with them. Sometimes I spend my money on books or video-games magazines. I don't spend money on top-ups for my mobile phone.

Requests:
I don't want to meet people, but I want to be very good at English and very good at sports, for example football and tennis.

My friend description

My friend's name is Ferran and he's 12 years old. Ferran it's funny and friendly. He likes playing basketball, but he doesn't like doing homework. He hasn't a lot of time but he plays basketball and computer games and he spend his money on videogames and books.
He speaks Spanish and Catalan very well, but he doesn't speak English very well.

Hi, my name is Francesc and I'm 13 years old.
Today I'm talking about my summer holidays.
First I'm going to talk about Cantoni. Then I'm going to talk about my holidays with my family in Kenya. Finally I'm going to talk the prepare for school.

The first thing to did in this summer was go to Cantoni to pass 7 days with my friends and doing funny activities. Then in August I went with my family to Kenya. In Kenya I did a lot of safaris and I saw a lot of animals like: zebras, elephants, lions and others. Finally I prepared all things for the school. I prepared my books, my pencil case, my homework...
And during this time I did a lot of homework and I read a lot of books.

I think this summer was funny, but it was hot and so short.

Cristina.C- She stayed 2 days in Sardana. Then she stayed 2 weeks in England to learn English. Finally she stayed in Canada during 7 days

Ferran.I- He went to Tunisia, he visited the ruins of Cartago and the monuments. Then he went to Calella de mar and finally he prepared for school.

Andreu.M-He went to Sevilla and he visited a lot of monuments. Then he went to Volton to play football and learn English. Finally he went to Egypt to visited the phyramids.

Gemma.Q-She went to Portaventura, she stayed all day in the park. Then she visited Cadaques, but she dindn't swim, because the water was cold. Finally he prepared for school.
